And how do you define British ? Is it just what is written in a passport or are you alluding to some defined racial group of people ? The BNP is know to have white supremicists among it's ranks, not to mention the ordinary xenophobics, the "wogs-begin-at-Calais" brigade. Do you want to associate yourself with those people ?

If you look into the history of Britain you will see we are a "mongrel" race. The Celts (Welsh, Gaels, Cornish) are the most ancient britons that can be easily identified. The rest are a mix of Romans (Italy), Saxons (Germany), Picts (where?), Normans (France), Vikings (Nordic countries), immigration by many peoples over the centuries, including many from the old British Empire last century. Maybe part of what defines being British is the tolerance and integration of different people and cultures over the centuries, but I don't reckon that view would be popular at BNP HQ.

The BNP are a one issue party with no real solutions to the real challenges the UK faces IMHO. Of course in a democracy you have the right to vote for who you want, but I don't see a vote for the BNP as a vote for anything positive.

Either you're a ****, or you don't understand what the BNP really represent, or you posted this to get a reaction. Whatever issues you may feel we need to address in Britain, perpetuating hatred will never solve them.

As the Tories become more like the right wing Labour Party and the Liberals become more and more multi-single-issue-supporters (Like Labour used to) people with views slightly to the right will tend toward the BNP (especially as the BNP have obviously visited some sort of "Style" guru and been told that snarling skinheads aren't gonna win any votes).

I actually feel sorry for the poor old "traditional" labour voters who can only really choose - well the can't really choose anything - they'll have to vote for someone whose standing up for their rights as ordinary citizens - just like the BNP appear to be doing. I reckon the BNP will make significant wins in the elections and Tony Bliar will have to have a good look in the mirror to see why this is happening - If labour supporters can't vote for a real labour candidate they'll vote for someone who says there gonna make the streets safer and clean up all the crime in their area (by sending all the blacks home).

I`m still amazed that people are genuinely fooled by the thin veil of respectability that the BNP are trying to wear - do people really think they've changed or are they turning a blind eye?

IMHO the link between the BNP and NF/Combat 18 is so obvious that you've had to be an idiot or a liar to not acknowledge it.

Hi all
In my area (Swindon) there is a party running called the nationalist party. They will be getting my vote.
This is a party that considers joining Europe a step back for the uk. As the labour and Conservative (who have always got my vote) parties claim opposite but the same stance towards Europe (dont you just love the government?!) there are no clear cut drives from the above parties. With the above said, i certainly am not a racist in any way but feel the Nationalists seem the only party capable of keeping to a plan. All we want as a country is an indipendent state not mater how much certain members of public denie it to them selfs. There is nothing wrong with wanting your country to be yours, this doesnt not make you a raceist.

I'm guessing you are a bit dim and fishing for a reaction.

Bravo.

Don't think this thread belongs in this forum either.

I think a lot of people will vote BNP this year to shock the government into changing its tactics if nothing else.
I dont think any of the people really want BNP to be in power but most disagree with the current governments policies on current issues.

I agree.
On BBC1 news the other night they said that the anti europe groups will suprise alot of people as it can be used as a medium for the up coming government to judge public opionion on current european issues and review its home legistlation, which needs a massive revamp.

In a perfect world we would pay for what we use.
the goverments actually makes money and not wasteing it, billions each year.

but thats not the case.
we, who pay taxes pay for all the....................... others that don't.
ban all taxes, and you pay at source for everything. schooling, hospitals, petrol, ect.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats never going to happen, who ever runs our Great Country will keep *ucking it up, I'm sure of that.
Time to close the doors and keep what we have, working then on the problems we have here rather than importing more.

What ever happened to getting your own house in order before helping others.

Johnny Sti........... looks like I to will go for the nationalist party thats been about in Swindon, lets keep it british and not european.

thats my bit for Queen and Country

Now this is a good idea, PROVIDED THERE IS A CREDIBLE ALTERNATIVE!!!!

Look at what happened in France 2 years ago: Le Pen nearly got in and LOADS of French had to turn out to vote for Black Jack Chirac, who they don't like, in order to keep Le Pen from winning.

Voting Conservative will give them a bigger kick up the backside. Voting for the minority parties merely registers your protest, voting Conservative may lose them seats.

Oh dear, you've just made yourself popular on here

You should come and live in an area where BNP candidates are all over like I do (Burnley) - scum of the earth, and they have the cheek to post their fascist claptrap through out letterboxes.

You do realise they dont believe in the NHS, or young people living a free life? They want to make us all do national service, and they would turn this country into a nightmare.

Not that they will get in this year around here - something has been rigged so we have to do postal votes - cant remember why, but some statistics about BNP supporters not using Royal Mail or sommat daft.

I'm NOT voting BNP or Labour.

Great idea. I think the major parties should adopt it. Might be something that makes a real difference to the youth problem of today. Its the parents of the current out-of-control youth generation that have let their kids get this way, and guess what - they were the ones who didn't benefit from national service first

Any party which had that in their manifesto would almost *certainly* win the next election.

So why don't any of them??

A lot of people here have made their thoughts clear, and have told Julian he is an "Idiot" or "stupid", but this is his own opinion. We all know about the BNP and what they stand for, and we all know how the other parties act once they get in. But this is what voting is for, if you dont like them, dont vote for them- its as simple as. But don't criticise people for voting for who they want.
Besides, most people on here just want the child abusers, murderers and thieves of this society sorting, so which party is gonna do that????

No I meant for all 16-17 year olds etc.
Though I could manage it so long as I had my job to come back to
Might help with this UK obesity problem too (not a personal problem you understand )

Personally I think National service would be a good idea, but I don't think this is something I will be basing my vote on.

However out of all the elcetrol leaflets I have through the door, labour, conservative, lib-dem, green, english national party, are the ones I can remember, out of all of these there was not one party that I felt it worth voting for. What choice do I have? Not voting? What will that acheive?

I have voted Lib dem upto now, but I am not pro europe and they are so I will not vote this time.

PLEASE SOME ONE GIVE US VOTING PUBLIC SOME SORT OF A CHOICE.
