Who Did You Vote For?

Upto you if you answer or not but I found our local polling station, went in, reviewed all the potential candidates, nearly 1/2 of whom I'd never heard of & the other half's whose policies I didn't agree with ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Then I saw
Martin Bell
He got my vote - mainly because he's an independant and because fed up of the rest of the b'stards - on every side.
& strangely enough, my wife's as well - which is the first time we've every voted for the same person/party ever...
What was your thoughts and whom did you end up voting for?

UKIP too - looking the popular option isn't it?
Conservative for the locals - they've done nothing wrong and we have one of the lowest council tax rates in the country. Can't see that staying the same with the Labour alternative.

Not sure I follow with the UKIP and Labour staying in power though. For many people, these elections are seen as protest vote. The UKIP was standing for euro seats and not UK Parliament seats. I would expect things to be a little different when the GE comes next year. I suppose there is a possibility of the opposition vote being split, but the Tories could easily counter this by aligining themselves roughly with what the UKIP stand for ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Couldn't vote, as Fatty Two Jags decided to make it an all postal vote where I live. Got my papers, but not two stupid evelopes to put it in. Couldn't be arsed to sort it out.
That's the first time I've NOT voted in over 10 years.

I wasn't going to vote (was in Dublin for the day). But then I happened to see on Sky News that the interest rates had gone up another 0.25% so when I returned I made damn sure I voted!
I don't think the interest rate rise could have come at a worse time for Tony. I reckon there were a load of "don't knows" who were persuaded into action by that.
