also, how do the detectors work? Assuming if you get lasered/radared you are stuffed, do they rely on picking up signals in the general area (i.e secondary reflections etc)?
I'm thinking of either satnav with speed camera locations marked (two birds one stone) or road angel type with laser detection. Are the speed camera locations as up to date as each other, or is a dedicated device more up to date?
Is the laser detection worth having a separate device?

The Origin is a v.good bit of kit, gps and laser detection, the database is good as its not missed any cameras in the last 2 weeks ive had it, easy enough to fit with a comprehensive manual 'idiots guide'. Price wise bought two £330 each, Sherlock having the other one which he also thinks is the dogs danglies, got them from Jason at Alpha Telecom within 3 days. Hope this was a help. JOL

as for the road angel i went through 3 of these in 2 weeks, as they kept blowing up, dodgy batch was the technical excuse from pc world.
you should look on the group buy section for the origin b2 GB, and contact jason and see what he can do for you. There are also a few old model road angels for sale in the general for sale section (not the nice new blue ones)

If you want to hardwire it into the vehicle there is a secondary car kit so you can just remove the head unit and pop it in the other vehicle.
If you want more info PM me or call me on 01943 850085.
Andy, the LRC is £265. It will jam any of the speed detection devices which use laser and it will also open your electric garage door!!
