Smile Royal Ascot

Anybody else there today?

I went on a corporate hospitality thingy, free food/drink all day + won £100 all in all a very good day. Never been horse racing before. Will probably find something to spend my winnings on at the Japshow on Sunday!

I live in Bracknell and to me Royal Ascot means a number of things - namely jags and mercs clogging up the roads and motorways for miles around, nowhere to park should you need to venture into ascot and one which I find quite amusing is a number of police officers being well utilised helping fatcats to cross the road in ascot high street, which never moves at more than 10mph anyhow.

Im sure its a great day out I just wish they could shunt it a couple of hundred miles in any direction

Question

That's true, but at least you will be able to park in Ascot next year.

btw How do you define a fatcat?

Good question and I would have to say I can't really define a fatcat

However, I could probably point one out within seconds at the top of the high street waddling over the road towards their bentleys as a police officer stops the traffic

I work in Bracknell - Royal Ascot is nothing but a pain, go through ascot home, coz of all the traffic go a322, what happens? Loads of accidents FFS.

Bunch of toffs dressed up like kippers staggering piss3d all over the place, and half of them driving

great
