BB - the bottom of the barrel now?
just watched the last 15 minutes of BB. my question is this:
at what point does someone say "enough is enough"?
if C4 could get good ratings showing live bear baiting, would they do it? if they could show live domestic violence, would they do it? if they could show live street fights, would they do that to get a few more viewers?
my opinion is that this show degrades the people involved and the audience, to an unacceptable degree. i will be writing to C4 to let them know what i think. not that i expect that to make much difference to anything.

There was a guy on a phone in radio show today saying that whilst in Portugal he was offered money by an English TV crew to "start some aggro" If true, I wonder if it's C4's attempt to seek a replacement for 'chavs in a cage'?

I agree wholeheartedly, I've also just said on another thread that they actually aren't any different to the English football thugs really, encouraging potential violence.
Then again, as a tv programme that's all about viewing figures it's accepted.

It's chav t.v. There is a market for it, so it will sell.
80% of t.v is $hit, everything is "vote for this" or "vote for that".. I reckon that nothing will change until we can eliminate the social underclass (who seem to be breeding at an alarming rate). Remove chav culture and we have won the battle

A student versus a group of miners - now that is one fight I'd pay to see!

I saw it live. Made for fun viewing. Jay needs to be removed, bullying ****. He's like a feckin football yob. He was calling them kids then went out and behaved like a spoilt brat himself because he was "being taunted".

If that tube Marco had done that dance in front of me trying to wind me up I very much doubt that I would have stopped at making threats. I think Marco and Emma should get kicked out for being too dim.
"He called me fik"
so sue him - oops - you can't sue him - you are fik

manonthestreet - you must have led a very sheltered life if you think the likes of Marco and Emma can be reasoned with. - You seem to have some sort of hang up with alpha males - have you never thumped someone who was annoying you - do you prefer to use linguistics to make them look small? Is a verbal thumping less painful than a physical one? Do you know how good it feels to kick the **** out of some **** who is really annoying you?

IMHO it's Marco who's playing the game best - he knows when and how to pull the strings, best shown last night.
He's one arrogant little prat though. I'm not a violent person, but my fist would have been flying at him if he'd have done that stupid-poncey-violence provoking dance in front of me.
He's possibly the weirdest thing I've seen on TV - like something off the X Files.
Not very ethical, but I'm loving it - a pile of complete publicity ****** kicking two lumps of $hit out of eachother...great! Lets have more!

so you don't then - what do you do instead - clap you flippers and dance about the place?

How would you suggest dealing with some inbred freaky ponce dancing in front of you trying to make you look like an ****? I think it is fair to tell him taht if he does not stop abusing you you will find it necessary to return the favour?
