Default churches

As you can tell I have just come to the board and am coming to the meet in Herts in July so I look forward to meeting you all.

We have also recently just moved to Stevenage in Hertfordshire and I know some of you are form this area as I have seen the cars!!!!!WE are so easily spotted!!! We have had to move due to my job but my problem is that I have a really strong faith in God so does anyone know of any good churches in or around where I live??? I know it is an odd thing to talk about here but this is the place for non-scooby things!! But hey God is just a part of our lives as my scooby is!

If you have a strong faith in god then surely he will be able to guide you to a good church in the area you have just moved to

I am sure I will be alright. I am sure I am not the only one that believes in God on here. I am not here to preach or anything just interested if anyone knew of any goodens where I live as I am new to the area. I would rather go on word of mouth than just bum around all of 'em - that might be a bit of a bore!!

So what defines a good church as opposed to a bad church? *opens can of worms*

I had no idea unconditional faith was so subjective!

Sorry, don't mind me, I am just being flippant! As you can probably tell, I'm a godless heathen!

Welcome to the board by the way!

You don't need church!

If you want to go to the source, try reading the book of John in the Bible. You can probably read through the whole book in an hour or so. If you have questions, post them here and I will answer.

If you just read the first three or four chapters of John, you will find out who Jesus is, why He came to earth and why that is important to you.

Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Seen as the Church of England is a major capitalist investor in uk properties, you can go to the Metro Centre in the Northeast and pray inside a "holy property"

Next time you drop 2 pence into the scounge bowl they hand around the pews, just think of the new pane of glass you are paying for in Carephone Warehouse.
