Default 11k Barclaycard bill

What interest would I pay, if I only paid the minimum payment one month?

Thanks

£130 is acceptable £350 isn't!

Maybe there is a better way to get a month loan?

Give them a call, it obviously depends what card/APR you have.

They should be able to estimate it quite accurately...

Telboy is smoking crack..but I don't think he really understands numbers.
I assume you wanna borrow £11k for one month...
11,000 X 16.9% / 12 = £154.92 theoretically.
Tel charging 2 months? or around 38.2% interest?

You used to be able to get a bank loan from Barclays. And if you paid it back within 28days you didn't have to pay any interest, at all. I've done this a few times, but not for a few years. Check with them.

But if you only want a month then you have 56days interest free period on your CC. If you get the timing right.

Barclaycard did (& might still do) a 0% fee cash advance, if they advanced funds to a Barclays account. Be aware that cash advances incur interest from the date you draw down the funds & not from when your first payment is due.
Set yourself up with a new credit card that has a 0% balance transfer & transfer from the B'card as soon as you've taken the advance.

You can then pay your dealer in cash, & get charged a days interest for the loan.
(Just remember to transfer the balance onto another 0% card when it runs out & don't miss any payments !)

Money for nothing !

It worked for me, my garden went from this :

to this using the above method

Easy answer was to call my bank and arrange an interest only loan.

£50 set up fee and 40pence per day interest.

I will only have to borrow the money until the insurance pays out, 30 days max.

£62 for a months loan isn't that bad.
