Question Fear and loathing....

in Las Vegas, great film.
when the fat samoan lawyer is caned in the bath eating grapefruit with a sword he's listening to a track "somebody to love".

The boogie pimps ripped of a sample of it.

whats the original and who's it by??

"better not tell him about these bats I thought, poor ******* will find out soon enough for himself"

to be followed by

"what are you doing, dont you know this is bat country?"

Absolutely wicked film, made all the more enjoyable if you've experienced the mind bending substances they're supposed to be on. Depp acts it too well, I reckon he's dabbled in the past

I've read the book on recommendation from my Bro. Never seen the film though.

Might see if I can find it over the weekend.

Brilliant film, agreed the Bat country part is one of the best lines in the film.
Made me feel very drunk/stoned watching that film, the camera is all over the place.

Good film, the book by Hunter S Thompson is hard reading though.

Agreed.

Caught the film by accident on Sky a few years back. Now own the Region one DVD and also read the book a few months ago (which after having seen the film was more enjoyable than watching it). It's in my top 5 flicks of all time.

Have we (all) been the reduced to the level of dumb beasts?
