Default So, whats everyone doing this weekend?

What are you plans for the weekend?

Thought it might be interesting to sort the couch potatoes from the weekend DIY fiends.

If I can get away with I'll do a perfect impression of a couch potato when theres F1 on the TV as its a great excuse to sit on your butt for 3 hours.

As thats not an option this weekend I'll be doing the following:-

Saturday.
Fitting my new STI pedal set (Yippeee)
Costing up getting my side skirts colour coded.
Getting bedroom ready for painting and building/fitting new furniture (this may take some time though, its taken 3 years to fit a lamp shade!)
Can't find a baby sitter for Saturday so its a night in by the looks of.

Sunday.
From 8 till about 5 I'll be doing what I do nearly every Sunday which is stand in a park with a bunch of mates racing little radio control cars round a track. Possibly sounds like big kids and toys and quite possibly right but all very serious when we race.
Sunday night argue in the vid shop as to what are nightly viewing is going to be and fall asleep just after the titles.

And you?

Tonight, going over to the folks with the mrs, have a few beers and get a take-away.

and tomorrow, well thats going to be a great day!

In brief:-

A friend of mine was killed last year in a car accident, he was signed with man utd, played for swindon, and had just been signed on loan to watford last season, before he was killed.
Tomorrow is a memorial day for him, his home town where we live, the local team Redditch Utd are playing Swindon, its going to be a great day to remember a great friend. Having an auction with loads of footie goodies, signed shirts from the man utd squad etc etc.

Its going to be a great day for remebering a good friend, sorry to be a bit grim, mentioning it, but it will be excellent.

And remember, its a 3:00pm Kick Off at Redditch Utds ground in the midlands area, £5 entry adults, £2 entry kids, all money is going to the Jimmy davis Memorial fund, a new fund being set up tommorw that is aimed at helping young up and coming footballers. Anyone is welcome.

Have a good one all!

Birthday on Monday but celebrating on Saturday (another notch on the staff of life).
Parents coming down for a Chinese tonight, mucho vino, sort out my home PC that’s been in intensive care and just got it back.
Out for a meal Saturday even more vino, hotel etc. drunken stupor, stagger etc etc
Then depending on the state of me a run out somewhere on Sunday weather looks to be good over on the east coast on Sunday.

"Do you know what your doing"
"Don't be silly of course I do love"

Friday 8pm
"Your tea is ready, are you finished?"
"Well yes and no, Yes I've finished changing the oil, No I'll have to take it all back out tommorrow as I've overfilled the gearbox "
"You really don't know what your doing do you?"
"But Scoobynet said 4 litres dammit!!!"

Well,

30 mins to search Scoobynet for the proper way of doing it
10 mins reading the arguments over which is the right way to do it
20 mins waiting for someone to reply to "So which way round does this go"
20 Mins to find out how to jack her up.
10 mins to loosen the right bits
3 mins to do the job and realise I've forgot me glove.

Tonight - Going over to some friends for dinner, mucho vino, and Big Brother eviction (As a rule I don't watch this drivel but some of said friends are girls ).

Saturday - Fit STI pedals assuming they have arrived (will find out in a while). Get a 30th birthday present for mate - party is next weekend in Cornwall, surfing during the day, boozing at night Not sure about the evening yet, may be going to see Spiderman 2, possibly a few beers in town, but earlyish night because.....

Sunday - Get up earlyish and go to Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford Probably get back late after many hours spent in traffic / getting out of car park Dinner, few drinks, bed
