Colleague here has some friends who booked a holiday of a lifetime to Oz for 24th Sept, returning 21st October. Unfortunately, one of the party has been diagnosed with cancer and given just 2 months to live.

Unsurprisingly, he's opting for chemo, etc., so won't be going on the holiday. Apparently the insurance ******* won't refund the cost of the tickets (some £1500) so they need to sell them on.

Probably a long shot, but if anyone knows anyone who'd be interested in buying the tickets, they'd probably take anywhere from £1200 for them. Apparently it's not possible to sell them on eBay?

Anyway, flights are 24th Sept returning 21st October, Malasian Airlines, economy class, Manchester to Sydney, via Kuala Lumpa. If you're interested, or know anyone who might be, drop me a line?

Sorry can't help you sell them, but if the holiday was booked before they were diagnosed then they should get everything bar the deposit back. I was due to go to Australia last Xmas but in Oct I had to go into hospital for the first of my 2 operations on my back, I was refused a refund twice but after some carefully worded letters from Dr/Hospital/Myself I eventually only lost a couple hundred deposit (two tickets).
