I used to order a few packets of cigars from a similar website which all arrived OK but then ordered a shed load as gifts for best man, ushers etc for my wedding 4 years ago and the whole lot was impounded by Customs and Excise for trying to evade tax.
I've no idea what the law is now but if i remember correctly, i wasn't even given the chance to pay the duty. Wife was so incensed that she got in touch with Radio 4 and was on "You and yours" relating our fight with C&E and the company that sent them.
Never forget the guys name who ran the company - Max Diamond - the clues were there really.

Come on, GET WITH THE PROGRAMME - tax raised from cigarettes greatly outweighs the cost of smoking-related NHS treatments...

Just buy 200/400 at a time and you don't have much to loose out on. I bought about 1000 **** in total, 200 a time and got them all.
If you order say 800 I think they still send them in 4 different packages.

I looked up "discount cigarettes" on google recently, clicked on a link for a site and was presented with a page from HM Customs and Excise warning about the penaltys for evading the duty on cigarettes. After that I decided to stick with the local shop!

Just came back from Spain the other day, got my mate some rolling tobacco while I was over there. I couldn’t believe the price difference, it’s almost a quarter of the price. Can’t see how the government can justify so much tax when other country’s are that much cheaper??? If people want to smoke let them get on with it, you never change their minds by taxing them.
