TAG watch batteries.
Opinions please.
Do I go to Watches of Switzerland and take the full hit of £35 or local shop for a £2 battery? (I know WoS with professionally seal it etc)
The last time the watch went to Switzerland for a new strap, face, battery and service the bill was £385!!! (thank got it was covered on the ins.)

I sent my 15yr old £300 tag to beaverbrookes for a new battery years ago-never came back, damaged in transit apparently. The model I lost had been discontinued, cue £630 tag replacement.

Take it into WOS and pay the £35.
I took mine in last week and collected it the next day although it was ready 3 hours later.
I believe they re-seal it in a vacuum or something?
Well worth it IMHO, just in case those Fairy bubbles find their way inside and kill your Swiss timepiece!
