Here's the thing.
Fisrt off I hate the d1ck heads that drive in the middle lane for no reason. However,
1) undertaking is not allowed + stupid
2) if the guy in the midlle lane was doing 70+ what were you doing trying to get past him?
Who is most at fault. Mr "not committing an offence" or Mr " I'm commiting two at once"

lol.
Your point number '2'. We've all done 71mph on occasion - I'm sure you're no different???
Point 1: Making better progress in the inner lane is not undertaking.

Bizarre.
24, Male, South/Midlands area, Porsche 944 Turbo, girlfriend of a year, work in IT as a Senior Operations Analyst.....and appreciate the value of having a chuckle on places like "scooby net".
You?? (I'm not actually bothered).

Better progress in the near side lane not undertaking, what a technicality.

I'll disagree, its not a technicality. There is a big difference.
Pulling back out in front of them completes an undertaking manouvre. Being in the correct lane doesn't mean you are guilty of anything.....unless of course you are doing 71mph....or much higher speeds.

No, no - i'm intruigued by them, don't get me wrong.
Brake dabbing, inside lane "games", outside-lane presenteeism - i'm learning loads.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
But then, i guess we all used to drive similarly at 24, just didn't have the opportunity to share the wisdom of it all on the internet....

I'll SORT OFF agree with what senior AP has to say here, if your cruising in the left hand lane like EVERYBODY should be and you should only move over a lane to overtake, now if theres nothing in your way at 70 and all the middle lane hogs are sat behind a queue of traffic at 65 then theres nowt wrong with cruising past 10 cars only problem is then you'll catch up with whatever every1 is trying to over take and then you'd have to pull out and look like a queue jumper...lol

ITs even funnier that you (being among the worst) don't see the irony in some of my posts.
Whatever your age, I assume older judging by the eternal question "how old are you" (commonly said by inferiority complex ridden 15yr olds) I would have thought you would have realised by now that being a good fisherman means making the prey take the bait everytime.
Go away and show off your dump valve or something. Mwwooaaaarrpp chiiissshhhh!!

The grey area but you've done nothing wrong in the case you mention.
Upon reflection, I should have put this in Muppet Show along with 80% of my other threads...on here people assume you're always being 100% serious.

The most common breed of troll seeks attention by enthusiastically posting up a stream of off-topic drivel or by being clumsily provocative (like posting up, "PCs ROOL!" on an Apple Mac discussion board.)

Ahh, I see. Troll. I'll remember that.
A brand new thread is not off topic though cos, by definition....there is no topic yet. This thread was based on my trip to work this morning - I got here nearly all the way in the correct lane. It was really noticeable today.
The above statement about scooby drivers was intentional and quite honest. I love scoobs but would be bolloxed if I'd buy one now as I wouldn't wanna be associated with the a vast number of people that drive them.
Apologies to 2 people I know that do have scoobs. They are from the pre-chav era.
