Setup a new eBay account with a nearly expired credit card. Cancel the card and then bid on all of his auctions and leave negative feedback.

if she posted him a cheque she has his address. Sign him up for every piece of junkmail/ **** mail/ pizza deliveries/etc etc you can find. Mail him from a hotmail account telling him that it will never ever stop until he hands over the goods or moves house

by all means continue the quest for the money back but posting the details somewhere like this is asking for trouble.

we have his address, he has ours....
I have emailed him with
Lawrence,
As far as I'm concerned, you can do what you like with your camera. I am unwilling to allow you to use it as a tool to blackmail me. If you are unhappy with the truthful feedback that I have left you, you should have made more of an effort to hold up your end of the deal. Do you really think I care that you have been on holiday, or smoking dope??? You can give any excuse under the sun, but it all still comes down to the fact that you were a bad seller. I hope you like the follow up feedback that I have left....it may not be what you were hoping for...but I feel that it does the situation justice.
A formal complaint has been sent to ebay with screen prints of all correspondence between us. A complaint of non-delivery has also been filed. I don't care if nothing comes of it or if it takes forever, I would rather deal with them than with an idiot like you.
I will alter my follow up feedback when you refund me the money.
All the best,
Fiona

If you have proof that they've cashed your cheque, and they've admitted they haven't sent the camera, then instigate a claim against the seller through the small claims court.
You can do it online via the government website here:
https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp
Maybe having a CCJ against them will make them think twice about this sort of behaviour.

Look at it this way: so long as you get £22.50 worth of entertainment p!ssing him off you will get your money's worth whatever!
Keep up the good work!
Where abouts does he live?

There's one company I spotted the other day selling large amounts of electrical goods on Ebay, their warranty agreement is if you do NOT leave them postive feedback they won't honour the warranty on the goods and will cease all communication! How can Ebay allow crap like that?
Just to add to the OP: Be very careful. Eventhough I sympathise with your girlfriend's situation, Ebay may not be too happy about the link you posted on the feedback. The seller may use it against you claiming harrasment and the rest and get your account suspended.

In mitigation, it was 6.30 in the morning here and I'd just got up.
