Default Cleaner gives two fingers to pretentious art - is this really art?

Perhaps a mistake, but quite right too......how does one qualify to be taken serious when exhibiting such a mundane & humdrum piece of "art".

I assume said "artist" has to have a history of "serious" art before rubbish like this can be taken seriously by the pretentious art world??

Puzzling.

Oh, and surely.....

The 78-year-old artist replaced it with a new bag
...means that the original 'piece' no longer exists, and surely diminishes the appeal?

"Why don't people try to understand the singing of birds?
People love the night, a flower, everything that surrounds them without trying to understand them.
But painting - that they must understand"

Pablo Picasso

These "artists" get away with rubbish (sorry ) like this because the Emperors new clothes syndrome. None of the "art experts" will ever admit they don't "understand the piece".

I think that story is classic and shows the real worth of that kind of "art".
