eBay history

Is there any way of checking older auctions (ones that have finished) to get an idea of how much items have sold for ?

Yes save them whilst they are still active in your watch list. That way you can see what things sold for. As for looking at already concluded auctions then no there isn't.

Errm - yes there is. Type your search string as normal and when the results are displayed, on the menu on the left, click "Completed Listings" and away you go...
