I am thinking about using my AA cover to get my car taken to the garage I use,the problem is that it is about 80 miles from where I live.I would obviously say it had broken down and not just ask for a trailer...
I have just checked on the AA website and it says they will take your car home or to the nearest garage whichever is closer...
Has anyone used it recently for the purpose of transporting a car to there chosen garage???
I have been in the AA for 10 years and have to top membership, last time I used it was about 7 years ago when my old ren 5 turbo packed up and it had to be trailered and I remember the driver saying he would take it wherever I wanted it to go no matter how far away..

It does not say we will take you anywhere you want which is want I need...
I have family membership so in theory could I say the car is at my dads house(where the membership is registered) but I live miles away..Take me to the garage near my house...
