Heard on radio that U2 are bringing an album out soon, and rumoured to tour next year........WOW

Yep and they lost a copy of the new album from their studio. Not turned up on bittorrent as yet!!

They are usually well worth seeing in concert even if it is more of a show than a gig these days.

Have seen them 6 or 7 times and they are different every time, but always well worth the money.

6-7 times.....a U2 nut then. Only seen them once pop mart tour ( was that the last uk tour??). Try and see then again

The thing with U2 is they are one of the few bands on the 'stadium' circuit who can carry it off. IMO they are far better live than on their recordings (that's not to say their recordings are bad) and hence I usually try and se them on each tour they do.

Pop Mart was not their last tour if I remember correctly - the last one was done in the round (I saw them at MEN Arena in Manchester). There is a DVD of the tour (Elevation I think it's called) which is excellent. This was also the tour where Bono's father died half way through and he said that continuing the tour helped him come to terms with his father's death as the fans lifted his spirits at every venue.

Must agree with UB. Bono is such a kn*b I dont care how good they are live or otherwise. And what sort of pretentious w@nk name is 'the edge', scoff, scoff

used to be a fan in the days of october and war, the werachter and tourhout shows in belguim were great days

seem to be a bit up there own asses now
