It's only just turned into Autumn mate! you've got another 2/3 months 'till you get depressed!
Personally I'm glad summer is over, hate the hot sticky, muggy, crap weather. Only ok when you are on holiday or off work. hmmm, can you tell I'm a london commuter

Yup, It's depressing, everytime I try to do something outside it just tips it down with rain, It's cold, and what summer did we have, 2 weeks at the best.
I was flipping freezing on Sunday, was even tempted to flick on the central heating
But common sense kicking and I swapped my shorts and T-shirt for some jeans and a fleece

I really like Autumn - it's my favourite season. I like the crisp weather and i think the leaves look really nice falling off the trees. I don't like the boiling weather as you can't do anything in it. I also prefer the clothes in the winter - is that a bit of a 'girly' thing to say?

Personally, I quite like winter. More reason to stay in. Light the fire of an evening. Few glasses of whisky. Get out a good bottle of claret to go with beef stew.
I feel depressed in summer cos i'm not 21 anymore and all those birds in tight tops don't fancy me.

Autumn/winter - night rides, no walkers on the trails. All good from my point of view. Apart from the muddy tree roots, the constant cold, the fact that you have to carry a shedload of different clothes unless the weather changes, the constant mud......
OK, summer's ace.

My doctor said it was Seasonal Adjustment Disorder......S.A.D.
He also said, " Stop taking LARGE amounts of anabolic steriods."
Apparently that doesnt help with depression.
It also doesnt help watching these programmes on the tele, of people starting up a new life in sunnier climbs.
It was all about Tenerife yesterday, Xmas dinner in the sun.
And the guy got a call off his Mum to tell him she was scraping the ice off her windscreen.
Wheres the rope.........

isn't it an ultra violet light you use to fool your body into thinking it's getting sun in the gloomy months?
if these come in a screw in household bulb style, how easy is that?![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Must admit I like the snow, mountains of the stuff, loads of ice. Suits me great. Also I love the hot weather, I seem to thrive on it when it's in the 100's F.
It just the rainy drizzly cold crap you get inbetween that gets me down, or just the complete changeability and inconsistance of the British weather. Everytime I try to do something involving outdoor activities, it rains, or I get gail force winds.
Don't mind the wet when I'm off-roading, the dry mud shakes my teeth out
