Has anyone bought anything off Amazon.com? Is there any problem in getting the stuff through the post and paying VAT?
I want to buy a DVD that I can't find over here.
Cheers
Steve

Steve - Yup, I've ordered the odd thing from Amazon.com and never had a problem at all.
I used to use dvdboxoffice.com for DVD's and I only ended up paying VAT one time, and that was probably because I purchased around 250 quids worth of DVD's at one time.
Regularly used to order about 2 or 3 dvds at the same time, no probs at all.

Tax occurs on objects over £18 and gifts over £35 (or thereabouts).
Not everything gets stopped and in the end it's luck as to whether your item will get caught.
