Default anyone with a similar experience

Recieved a NIP for a speeding offence in Wales dated 3rd May. It arrived within the 14 days and I replied with the correct details. Since then I have heard nothing!!!. Is there a time limit from receiving the NIP till you hear anything more?, I am hoping that this wont turn out to be an early xmas present
any help or info would be appreciated

Indeed it is....has to be heard in court, not just recieved the summons, within 6 months of the date of the offence....i'd say there's a very good chance your gonna get away with it, only a week left before the time limit is up....lucky!!!

Don't wish to pish on your strawberries. However, it is TECHNIQUELY possible for a summons to be 'protected', and can be served at ANYTIME. For instance, if it's a serious offence and the driver of a car cannot be traced, i.e they've moved away etc.

Otherwise, the above comments are 100% correct. In the past, even evidence presented to the court just before the end of the 6 months has been thrown out, as the magistrates believe it to be an abuse of process.

Hope this helps
