Haha...
um.. aren't troops still running round trying to take Falluja under some control today?
Are we allowed to start the independance war again? I bet we'd take that puny little island of queers in half the time we took Iraq!

Yanks, lol. The laughing stock of the world! I don't think there is a civilized country on the plannet that doesn't think they are a bunch of overweight gun happy idiots. Oh and they have to have 10litre v10s in family cars because the average american family weighs 700kg!!!

LOL - LOOOOOoooooSERS!!! <does L sign on forehead Clarkson style>
They don't like it when their tractor engineering is shown up for what it is do they?
I wonder what they would have made of James May's comments on last weeks masterpiece. "we're just not interested in the views of sanctimonious patronising americans wearing tartan trousers who come over here with their big video cameras saying 'gee, it's all so old'. ....Sod Off....!!"

PMSL at this comment -
>I would like to see puss boy attempt to shift with my Pro 5.0 shifter, and depress the McLoed Dual clutch.<
Sounds like a wonderfully refined piece of kit, and an even more refined owner. lol

Seriously shocked at the comments on that thread, Americans really living up to their reputations on there!!
They seem to take it as a major insult that 'their' car has been offended, and simply refuse to face the facts that theres better cars out there
Some brits start to reply on page 5 of the thread however

With the exception of a few people on here who get the point the rest of the posts on this thread are proof positive of what happens when cousins marry.

'You know there is a reason we call them Mussel cars not Fairy cars.
Homos.. like two giggling fairies. God Bless the USA. '
Homophobia, Xenophobia and poor spelling in the same sentence(ish), thats some going !
Clarkson does like to take the p1ss out of the Yanks though, but they are funny I suppose. God bless America, cos nobody else is going to !
There seems to be to types of American, the clever, witty, urbane, slightly embarrassed about being American but still a little proud to be American, then theres the lot on that board which comprise the other 90 odd percent, we call them Chavs in England !

Ah, yanks, thinking their cars are the best, everything else is crap.
I've had the 'fortunate' and, I use that term in it's loosest possible sense, experience of driving some of the USA's cars. Saturns, Mercury, GMC, Chevy, and god knows what else, ah, dodge, how can I forget dodge.
For crusing along a highway, yeah, they are ok, and as the US is mainly highway and long distances, I can see why they like their own brand tinboxes, but OMG! they are evil! The dodge intrepid I've spent a lot of time in, is one of the most horrific cars I've ever driven, it's a big, wallowly barge, horrible around town.
You can't see the front or rear of the car, it's trully awful.
I could get a rather nice deal on some lincoln, saturn, caddy, or other car, but no thanks.
OK, there are some good cars out there, the corvette IS good, and as for it in the UK, it is good as well, do not take TG's word for it, drive one.
Though on the whole, US cars suck

"Bloody hell! A couple of mincer TV presenters cast some misinformed dispersions on the C6 so the whole UK has to be nuked! It's good to see that the global perception of Americans as ignorant, xenophobic ****wits isn't being reinforced here."

donkey brained, obnoxious Yanks......grrr
Most don't even know where the UK is on world map - this is from personal experience...
This has got my back up good and proper , no wonder it took them so long to decide to join the war - they keep having to stop to fill up!
It's definately a pride problem for them having to stick up for so much trash. I agree the Viper is one decent thing to be exported but not a lot else...

Oh, one further thing. Infiniti - Pity the UK doesn't get the G35 Coupe (badged Skyline in Japan) very nice little car, and the saloon isn't bad either.
