Iraqi Prisoner Shooting Video
Given that PSLewis managed to totally ruin the original thread, this is a fresh one with a link to the video.
Please observe the warnings before viewing.
[Although the link posted was not a direct link, I have removed it nevertheless to keep some people happy I think we can all use google]

Can i ask a simple question?
Why would you actively seek out such depraved media. Do you get off on watching people being slaughtered like animals?
It troubles me that in this day and age, (the so called civilised west) people want to see such barbaric actions.
I'm not having a go, i just want to know what people find appealing about it?

OK, most of us are all old enough to decide whether we watch something like that or not. What I don't agree with is that such things have a place here on Scoobynet.
It's not an over 18 site for starters and if anyone wants to watch such cr@p (IMHO), then let them go somewhere else or use Google. Posting links directly on here encourages people to look at it.
As for viewing such footage, what people need to remember here is it's not Hollywood. Someone is actually being killed in the video, it's not a actor or a stage prop. Whether it's some bit of scum or not or whether it's murder or not is irrelevant. Watching any death is something I don't think is relevant for Scoobynet.

In fact how do you know I watched it? I posted an indirect link that maybe I didn't follow. The thread was in response to another thread.
You really are thick.

I got the link off another BBS and posted it in reply to another thread on this forum.
The link was to a news web site and it wasn't a direct link to the video. Either get your arguement straight or direct it to those it applies to.

CoobyS... a little bit of advice to you as a Newbie. If you want to join in the 'community' spirit of SN... I would refrain, if I were you from getting off on a bad footing by calling people thick!

However, reading around it seems as though the majority of members don't prescribe to the 'community spirit'.

It's a fooking war for gawds sake. The Iraqi had been holed up popping bullets at the American and his mates all morning - of course they're going to get him. Whether or not war should be declared is up for debate, but IMHO people shouldn't criticise soldiers for shooting people, that's what they get paid for. Also soldiers are trained to see the enemy as animals that need slaughtering to a certain extent. If they were worried about the guys mother and kids everytime they fire they'd all be crying by the end of the day and the war would be lost. Let them get on with it, its a hard enough foooking job anyway without CNN and Sky following broacasting every so much as a fart on the TV.

good example of why ppl should WATCH THE VIDEO.....no one was rounded up! he spent days shooting the yanks, the yanks finally go into the place he's been shooting at them from (thinking they have killed them all)....ones still alive.....so they kill him.

According to the embedded reporter, Sites, those wounded Iraqis had been left in the mosque after being treated by another group of marines. This was a different unit that decided to turn up and start shooting them.
