well it happend again

winding people up is all fun and well, but trying to have people lose there jobs is a step to far IMO

i had sum returned mails bounced back (last year i think) from nissan motors uk which the sender had sent to the wrong adress and spoofed my email

they told nissan how i was building the seats for them on there line( i wasnt working for nissan building the seats, i was in the factory that suplies them nextdoor) and how i loved to take drugs and how i should have a random drugs test

now i would say that its a pretty good bet that i didnt send these myself, i had forgot all about it to be honest until an event which happend last friday

sumbody emailed the managing director (or simmiler) of the company which owns the car washing stuff, telling them about my thread about the car wash (which i thought was a good diary of what was going on) they explained that i was kicking off blahh blahh blahh, and that i should be sacked for my actions or simmiler

which is why i had the thread vaped (cheers whoever vaped it for me)

now thats not big or clever is it, theres defo sum sour grapes around these parts, the last email was signed by "jerramy clarkson" (sp on jez`s first name?)

i have my suspects.......

Didn't see the thread in question but don't let them get the satisfaction. You should get this thread vaped aswell IMO because all you are doing is showing them you are rattled.

I've had my fair share of threats from people on here in the past, usually to do with cat threads , and even a death threat which I thought was good!

I just caught your last post before thread went. I thought it had turned into a good discussion of some of the challenges facing a new small business. I enjoyed our virtual talk.
Quite why anyone did this I can't understand and this sort of action has the potential to spoil the freedom of expression (within Forum rules of course) that I have come to enjoy on SN.

maybe the "chav" you were slagging off read your post? Maybe some guy trying to make a living washing cars saw you labelling him as a "chav" and was pissed off enough to send an email?

You have to remember when you give out personal info on any BBS you are going to be open to events like this, it's not like talking to your mates in the pub where you wont have anything negative happen.

I agree its an absolutly terrible thing for somone to do. I too was enjoying your thread. Problem is that the perpitrator has won because he has deleted what a lot of people viewed as a good thread. Hell you would have probabily got a helluva lot of people from here visiting just out of sheer curiosity

The thread title could have been a bit more sublte - in escence it was ok, but the discussion sort of turned to which chav was being sacked first, to help pave your way to a 30K profit margin.

Good topic for discussion, but as said before, probably best left for the pub.

There's a new car washing franchise setup near us in Edinburgh. Opened a month or so ago, and when I walk past at 6pm or so on weeknights, there's always a car or two in there.....which seems quite good for a that time on a weeknight (given it is dark & cold).

Walked past yesterday (Sunday!), and **** me! The forecourt had about 20 cars on it, with a queue down the street!!!

Seems to have taken off.

from my starting week to my last week just finnished

theres nearly 300 extra cars coming in
i keep logs of how many cars have been coming in on named days

today we more then doubled our previous best for a monday
which is nice

i just had a thought, i can tell you how MY valeting company is going if you want.......

"a1 plus valeting services" will be bumping its acount up by £280 for todays efforts....
"a1 plus valeting services" made more then enough money over the weekend to pay for 2 lads wages for the next week, so everything from monday morning till friday is profit

so £280 for one day isnt to bad for a top line wage
magic tree air fresheners sell pretty well
bought them for about 58p each and sell them for £1.00

just orderd 500 air fresheners from ebay for 10p each, will be useing them as a little extra in all the full valets, punters seam to like it when they get in there car and see a new air freshener on the passeneger seat
