A Big Thanks
Just like to say a big thanks to all those who have sent me so many nice PMs and emails or contacted me in MSN. I been been inundated with them so, sorry if I haven't replied to you all as yet.
Some from people [you all know who you are
] came as real surprise/shock to get and I really appreciate all your kind wishes and support.

You will be sadly missed Lynne. 
Obviously being a good moderator gives you a minus in the brownie point stakes.

Welcome to the dark side RK
RK - sad to see you hang up the old vape sword. You were most certainly one of the most active mods I've seen on Scoobynet, whilst some others would prefer to lurk in the shadows.
Always fairly balanced views and moderation IMO, excepting Fords.

Moderation is a thankless task. Fact.
Redkop is someone I have never met, nor know, but my personal feeling is that she was personally committed to making a professional job of being a moderator. She also put in long hours doing so. On a personal level, quite how she managed to not 'rise to the bait' more often, I do not know. We are all human, and there is only so much abuse, provocation, and pedants that one can take.
Some seem to forget the humans behind this BBS. People have lives, they have feelings, and just because this is an electronic & personless forum, this does not mean it is a free for all as regards abusing others.
In summary, a professional job very well done. She'll be missed in the long term as a mod, that is for sure.

Lynne and I haven't always seen eye to eye, but I'll miss her as a mod. At least she's honest and says what she thinks, which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for some. The games played on this board and, I suspect, behind the scenes are just pathetic.
