Saw the trailer tonight and im getting pretty excited now. It looks pretty good and alot more action packed than the previous two films. The only thing that confused me was why Darth Vader was shackled.

Hopefully they'll have decent dialogue writers this time ! ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I think that even though the special effects have come on to such a degree that George Lucas can make the film he wants, it still won't be the same vibe to the generation that saw the original Star Wars films as kids. I just hope that kids seeing these new films get the same buzz as we did the first time round.

George Lucas has killed my childhood
at least it took 27 years to kill Starwars not the three it took the wachawsky (spell) brothers to kill off the Matrix.

I think theproblem with the new Star Wars filsm is not their quality (except maybe Phantom) it's because of the sophistication and expectation of modern audiences.
If Attack of the Clones had been released in 1977 (with the special effects it has now) it would have made just a big an impact. Star Wars broke new ground, that is why it is so successful.
The dialogue in Star Wars is dire, but nobody really notices.
Geezer
