Jeremy Clarkson's new TV Studio
Clarkson has been granted planning permission to build a TV Studio near to his house.
The planners have granted him 20 days filming per annum, max audience of 300 and everyone must be off site by 1930hrs.
I think the idea is that Top Gear will be filmed there rather than in Surrey.
There were 50 objections to the outline planning consent.

Article reads:
"TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been given the go-ahead by planners to build a film studio near his Cotswold home.
Despite receiving more than 50 letter of objections, West Oxfordshire District Council voted in favour of the planning application submitted by the BBC's Top Gear programme.
The 1,000 sq ft building big enough for a live audience will now be built at Enstone Airfield, a well known established rally driving facility just five miles from Clarkson's home in Chipping Norton.
This more convenient location will enable the show, which plans to film there 20 days a year, to move from its current base at Dunsfold in Surrey".

My Dad is the Surrey County Council Planning Officer looking after the Borough of Waverley where Dunsfold is located. There has been a huge amount of complaints/criticisms/objections etc since Top Gear started filming there from local residents and Councillors. An equally huge amount of red-tape had to be worked through to enable them to carry on filming as long as they have at Dunsfold so it's no suprise they been trying to find somewhere else to film the show. The last time my old-man whent to Dunsfold for a site-meeting all the presenters were there along with a selection of cars including the Mercedes/Mclaren SLR. Needless to say my Dad had a great day being driven around the track in a multitude of exotica but his favourite was the SLR. When he told me, I wished I still lived at the parents house so I could have gone with him
