Question Cheesy 80s Films

BBC1 Friday 10th December 1135 p.m.

The Wraith (1986) with Charlie Sheene - got this on video, and can't believe I thought it was cool

Any others......?

I used to like 'No Man's Land' with Charlie Sheen, probably because I used to do a lot with Porsches (never with a slimmy and a slide hammer mind!). Its still nearly a damned good film but it falls to pieces in the last 10 minutes.

I remember watching this film, quality My sister walked in during one of the car chase sequences 'What're you watching ?' she asked, 'The Wraith' I replied. 'Since when did you have a lisp ?' she unwittingly quipped.

Question

Does anyone know the type of car the Wraith/Charlie Sheene is driving - a VW Something or was is a Vector or some other type of crazy 80s thing?

The girl that is in the film is quite cheeky

commando, cheesy beyond cheese itself.

STI wanna - you are officially a raging marmite miner

In fact anything tom cruise or arnie made in the 80's was cheesy.

apart from terminator

The ultimate...................Flash Gordon!

Can be had on DVD cheap as chips. Totally over the top acting and hilariously funny in a laugh at it and with it kind of way.

Acting??? sorry didn't think anybody in that film knew how to. And can anybody remember which Blue Peter presenter was in it as a bit of movie trivia.

Mine has to be Dune.

If I hadn't had to sit through Bridget Jones's 'self-pitying alcohol fueled ranting' I would definitely class that as the worst film I have ever been stupid enough to watch
It even beats 'The Chase', also with Charlie Sheen, the original Buffy, and a lot of people who really should've known better, which was on BBC1 earlier in the week.

Are the beeb doing a Charlie Sheen season, or is it a 'fill the evening slots with ****' season?

Flash Gordon is a quality film but the DVD is shocking; it says its restored but theres even a what looks like a mug ring mark on one bit.....
