Over-rated for the money in certain parts of the range. I installed an indoor and outdoor system for a couple 2 years ago. They spent well over 15k on the components plus loads more on cabling and exterior speakers etc. The sound indoors was amazing, outside less so, but what was dire was the quality of the Bose £loads stand alone cd player/radio. It would have sounded awful next to a Bush micro system (2.5 +2.5W) type of thing. Crap.

Bose stuff is over priced, lacking quality and not as good as loads of other system/speaker manufacturers - buy What Hi Fi or something like that and learn all about it. Compared to most mainstream stereos Bose is very good ............ until you hear a really good system which you can buy for Bose money.

Well the wave music system is £1K would you get a 'decent' component system setup for that?

Yeah you'd get a reasonably decent entry level seperates system for that, say £300 each on speakers, CD player and amp, and £100 on cables. What HiFi are always reviewing combinations for all budgets.

next time you go to thorpe park, and ride nemesis ...

have a listen!!!!!!!

as you wander up the stairs .... the tension builds .. and the music and effects start..

LOOK UP..!!!!!

now you will see what gives all this atmosphere..

BOSE WAVE CANNONS,,, judging by looks of peoples faces as they go on the riide, you can tell that the crap sound system dosn,t work...

all bose do is utilise transmission line technology,, as do tdl and some other
"accepted speaker manufacturers" of note some of the high end automotive manufacturers use bose technology in there vehicles.. no change from £50k!!
