Default Is a 36ZP46 much worse than a 36ZP48 ?

Looking for a 36" TV & pretty much set my sights on a Toshiba.

The 36ZP48 is roughly £200 more than the 36ZP46, while I know the 48 is the newer model, is there £200 difference in the units - ie should I just go for the 46 or is the 48 really much better ?

Cheers

Ro.

not sure about the update but i have that model in both 36 and 32 versions (living room/bedroom)

superb set..only thing that is iffy is the standard speaker setup but its not that bad.

easy to use, no gimicks...just good TV

yep just what I am after - had a Toshiba 28" TV for over 8 years & has given faultless performance, and will continue to do so I am sure in one of the kids rooms !

I have the 36ZP38 (about a year old) and is excellent. Could'nt recommend enough - only downer is I paid £1200 for mine a year ago which was a good price off the internet at the time, as Currys were knocking them out for £1500 and thery are now £800 ish if you shop around....

prefer the black picture frame surround on mine anyway

Yep 46 is around £800 now & a 48 is under £1k if you shop around.
Was going to go for the 46 if there is no real difference between them, though the 48 must have been brought out for a reason ?
