Blairs fault again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taken from todays Telegraph:
Yet another Tory MP leaving the party to join Labour. Of course Blair is to blame for all of this for if he wasn't so good at his job we might have a load of missfits running the country, ie The Conservatives, where will it end? Will there be any Tories left in government? Further on in the article it mentions that a poll concluded that in the next general Election, the Tories will actually have 2 fewer MPs elected than the last election!
What have Moral Minority on Scoobynet have to say about this
"A senior Conservative MP today announces that he is defecting to the Labour Party because he believes that Tony Blair, not Michael Howard, should form the next government for the good of the country.
Robert Jackson, the MP for Wantage and a former higher education minister under Margaret Thatcher, revealed his decision to The Telegraph, claiming that a victory for Mr Howard at the general election would mean "certain harm" for Britain.
Robert Jackson emphasises his criticism of Michael Howard
In a move that will rock the Conservative Party and its leader, Mr Jackson said that he had decided to quit because the Tories had "dangerous" views on Europe, "incoherent" policies on public services, and had "wobbled" on Iraq. Most damaging for Mr Howard, he said that the party "deserved better leadership".
Mr Jackson, 58, wrote last night to the chairman of his Oxfordshire constituency informing him of his decision. In a withering two page critique of the national party, he said: "It is in the country's best interest that Tony Blair rather than Michael Howard should form the next government.""

I suspect many ex Tories are waiting with baited breath for the new kid on the block, the natural opposition to Labour, the only man who can save the country.........
Kilroy!
The man who makes many granny pants drip The permatanned egomaniac is the ideal leader for disillusioned tories

Remember this recent poll Pete. No vote rigging like in the London mayoral elections either. A true poll.

Basically hit the nail on the head. Generally the Tories of old had an on balance record for privatising national monoploies and union control, which i the main was for the good, if you forget about railways and going overboard on the unions.
Although seemingly middle class orientated party Labour have introduced many reforms that at the time were slated by business and Tories alike, minimum wage being one of them, but which are endorsed by all sides now.
Look at any area of the ecomony or country you like and youll see it in a better state now than in 1997, economy, poverty gap, healthcare, education, general wealth, etc etc etc
Go down to the betting shop tomorrow and put £1000 on Michael Howard winning the next election (BTW accuse Blair of spin doctoring, what do you think Howards real last name is )
Conservatives in the current guise are history, which is a shame as there should be a strong opposition party. Basically they haven't learnt the lessons as to why they were binned 8 years ago, and have tried to rehash the 'legacy' they left the country last time, whatever that is
In short youve never had it so good Enjoy it before brown takes over

Indeed, after listening to all the to55ers on here - you would think that Labour and Blair would be rocked out of power!!
Every proper opinion survey shows otherwise - Blair is trusted more than any other leader .... Labour is trusted more than any other party!!
Long live Labour, may Blair go on, and on, and on ,,,,,,,, the majority want it that way!!
