Hello All,
I'm trying to arrange a coporate event for go-karting in London but being from the North West I have no idea whats available.
Can any recommend some venues?
Its got to be commutable from tube stations in London centre and reasonably priced.
Cheers
Frank

Daytona at King's Cross - quite fast but with some tight bits too where it is impossible to pass. Overall best of London's indoor ones.
Outdoor - Buckmore Park but it's 45 minutes out of town

Buckmore = nery good oudoor track, but a long way from tube stations. Tube South of the river goes as far as New Cross Gate IIRC. Buckmore you'd be having to drive out, or take a train to Rochester, Strood or Chatham, I'd think.
If you're going for out of town, may be closer to go to Rye House at Hoddesdon (near the A10 North of M25). Big track, arrive and drive or "run what you brung" - so you get 7 year olds in race karts flying past you at times!

Buckmore park is near Strood on the train from Charing Cross/ London Bridge. Same distance as Rye House as both are outside the M25. Buckmore park is better, certainly for a coporate bash.

Was about to do a third when I found out that they were no longer there.
daytona in Milton Keynes is very good. If it wasnt so far away I'd organise an event there. only been there twice, the lap record is 1:09.76 and my fastest was 1:10.4

Was just thinking that Rye House might just about be on the way down to London, if you're coming from the North West. Buckmore Park isn't.

good stuff.
these tracks seem to be outdoor... are some indoor considering the conditions this time of year. Bit worried if I organise an event and it'll be p1ssing it down when it on....

Having done both Buckmore and Rye House plenty, I actually prefer Rye, even if the presentation at Buckmore is better. I found Buckmore a little too boring and each lap seemed to be over too quickly. As with most arrive and drive Karting, Rye House organisation and the quality of the Karts can often leave a lot to be desired but it's where I would go (again
).....
