.....................And if so, would like to swop a BRAND NEW 300 series tuner WITH DAB, for the one that hasn't?

I've bought this hifi as an end of line from Comet for a good price, but it has the DAB tuner.

The only drawbacks are that you need a good aeriel for it, and that the set remote doesn't operate the tuner, it has it's own.

We intend to take the set to our house we're trying to renovate in France, so DAB isn't a deal of use to us, although it does have FM, MW and LW too.

So.............if anyone has the same with the straight FM tuner, and fancies a swop, let me know, pretty soon as we leave with it on 11/2.

Wish you'd posted this 3 weeks ago....just bought the DAB tuner for the original Reference 300 to add to the amp and cd - I'd have bought it off you if I'd known

I take it you bought the Mk 1 system (gold) finish...as the Mk2 is silver, I wanted to ensure I had the matching tuner, case of right place wrong time, sorry.

Aren't DAB broadcasts available in France ? - the DAB tuner has FM frequency tuning as well anyway. Personally I'd hang onto it.

Give them a call (01282 864048), they didn't have the DAB tuner in stock but got it within a day..

I have the Reference500 system and wanted the minidisc but as it was discontinued, the only place I could source one in the end was Ebay!

I believe the MD-H300 is also discontinued but I just found one here:-
