Question Plasma - Samsung PPM42S3

Anyone got one of these? Its sold as a 42" plasma monitor not a TV? I assume that if Sky/DVD player was plugged in it work ok at home etc? Are these 'monitors' any different to the plasmas sold in currys etc?! We're getting a couple and I'm gonna have one for home if they can be used as TV's..... The saleman said it had no tuner but a DVD player or Sky can be plugged into it and it'll be fine as a TV......but I just wanted to check he's right! Anyone in the 'know'?!

Cheers.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any difference in quality over a 'plamsa tv'? I assume the've both got pretty much the same components inside?

Just check the contrast ratio etc etc , i found the only difference was the screen is minus a tv tuner ( have sky anway) and no speakers
