"The Captain"
Still have a Midland CB AM/FM and sideband in the loft.
Used to have an eighteen foot silver rod on my mum's roof when I lived at home.
Cheers

My m8 was well into CBs back in the day. Had a aerial on the side of his house that could be seen almost every were in the village i live in.
I remember one time his younger bros bike had been stolen, then later on during the night we was on his CB, som 1 came on asking if anybody wanted to buy a bike matching the exact same description of the one stoldn and the area it was from.
It was amazing the amount of stolen property that got sold over them.

I was Wagon Wheel (on account of my favourite biscuit at the time) and my wife was Squeak we met on the CB
I had a 7 foot Twin shuttle on the boot of my car and a 250 watt burner great fun you could fill your car up for a fiver by keying you mic and reseting the pump lol
And A 20 foot gamma rod with a full basket on the house lol, went up barr beacon and put it on my roof rack once

'Mr Magic', or the 'Wizard'.
Use to have a Rotel, traded it in for a Jeesan (half the size), big mistake
With a mag mount on the car, kept flying off at 60 so bought a gutter mount.
Also rigged up an arial in my dads loft, from an old TV arial, fully SWR'd in, saved on buying another arial.
Still got the Jeesan.

BodySnatcher here
Ahh the good old days - What a bunch of tw@ts we must have been. Once wired up the CB to the Pioneer 5,000,000 Wat amp (RMS) (with graphic equaliser) and clicked the mic so it was half on/off - made the car sound like an undercover Police car - quite a few fellow road users got out of the way .
When I say "Sound like a Police car" I mean it made the car sound like a cat was caught in the fan belt - but it did have an effect on passers by
