Default Car Tax

Need to tax the car tomorrow, I took out an annual policy on 14th Jan this year & received a temporary cover note for a month to 13th Feb 05.
Can I tax the car if the only doc's I have verify I'm covered for another two days ?

Are you getting the tax early or late?

I thought the cover note had to cover the vehicle on the day the tax was due, so if it's due at the end of this month, No they won't let you have it until you get a new cover note (or the policy)

Only needs to be in date at the beginning of the time period you are taxing it.
