garlic, fresh chilli, 1/2 an onion, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, couple of tablespoons of chopped tomatoes (or fresh chopped tomatoes if you're feeling adventurous) and a large dash of vodka, all fried in a pan and then poured over the spaghetti. little bit of sour cream is nice too!

- Wild Boar Ragu (courtesy of Carluccio's )
- Fry up some bacon, onion and garlic and mix it in well with the pasta
- Fry up some "Spinks" hot smoked fish, prawns, onion, anchovies, garlic and mushrooms and mix with your pasta. Looks a total mess but tastes great

heat some extra thick double cream (or fromage frais), on a very low heat or it'll spit everywhere - chuck in a few different types of cheese, all cut small so they melt quickly; add lots of black pepper, little bit of salt and then a handfull of chopped mushrooms. always good accompanied by a very cold glass of pinot grigio! also good with or without bacon/pancetta/tobasco etc. once eaten, fall asleep within 5 mins! when you wake up, go to the gym...

Heres last nights recipie: SJ's Sausage Casserole:
edit: You need a great big F-off cast iron casserole dish for this one!!
2 finely chopped carrots
2 finely chopped leeks
1 large onion roughly chopped
4 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 large sliced baking potato
8 rashers roughly chopped backon
8 sausages of your choice
1 small glass red wine
1 1/2 pints beef gravy
1 oxo cube
1 bouquet garni
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried thyme
Grill the sausages until they are browned all over and then set aside. Fry the bacon, onion & garlic, when the bacon is cooked, add the red wine and cook over medium heat for 3 mins. Add the herbs and bouquet garni, add the veg and potatoes add the gravy and sprinkle the stock cube over the top, add the sausages and give it all a good stir. Stick it in the oven for 1 - 2 hours.
Job done

To endorse what somebody else said, campbells chicken and mushroom soup is great with pasta, add some tuna to pasta/spaghetti with the soup is a nice flavour, or if you want an oven baked disk, as described, but put some cheese on top, ideally something with some flavour, red leicester for example, whack it in the oven for 20 mins fairly hot, and job is a good un.
