advance fee fraud. if you've got the email address it came from, let the ISP know & they'll close it down. if you've got a physical address, also copy to the fraud squad at the met as they want stuff like this.
i had one from some muppet in switzerland with personal email address and office address last month. hotmail closed the email account the following day.

What benefit is there in posting it here? Do you want to discuss with others some particularly cunning aspect of it that had you fooled? Or are you just looking to compare SPAM e-mail?

He's right though.
Everyone gets spam, and a lot of people will get the same one. Spam is bad, even me talking about spam is spam (my apologies).
Posting spam to a BBS, which has already been sent to X hundred thousand/million people just propogates the spam, giving the spammer more airtime. More airtime is not what they deserve. It also fills SN's database with spam, wastes time, web browser space, photons etc.
Loads of other people got your spam mail, and loads of people have other spam which you don't have. Let's stop reposting the spam!

(And he's off my party invite list too btw.... not that he'd be able to respond to the invite without correcting my grammar and spelling....)

Did you check them out on google?
Apparently they used to send out spam - but on scrolls. They were the forerunners in internet spam.
