The address you submitted when opening your Paypal account will be visible on the sale notice, as will the buyers address.

The whole point is trying to promote honest trading which it does sound like you are trying your best to avoid.

I find that quite funny as I've bought many things off ebay and they have all turned up. Yet when selling and taking payment by cheque I always get asked for my address.
Anyone care to answer why that is?

Nowhere can i find the sellers address?

if your the seller then the buyer can't see your address!
if you send money through paypal theres even an option "show address or not"
i've had a few paypal payments just saying "no address provided"
spoon do you mean both addresses are visible on the sale notice on ebay? cos i think thats changed now?

Paul, as said above, on a Paypal transaction only you won't find the sellers address but if you went through eBay it will show your address on the invoice.
If you are planning to sell elsewhere and are only using PayPal as a payment method then you will be OK.
I can't think where you are planning to sell however, unless it's a pub far away from your area where you aren't known.
Even then I'd have thought cash was a better alternative.
Remember if you do use PayPal and your buyers aren't happy then they will more than likely do a chargeback if they know their onions. That way you'll be left without your dodgys' and the dosh, not to mention having your account closed down if enough people complain.
Oh then there's the Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) close on your tail!!

Cheers guys.
Even on Ebay the buyer cant see the sellers address as above. There is an option on paypal to change your address if needed.
(I'm only flogging a few technical discs on a car forum, but would rather stay annonymous, nowt serious tbh.)
