LOL @ Mr Burns It was wriggling about, it looked almost as if it had the hiccups and managed to get a snapshot just as it moved and that big thing is it's hand!

It still hasn't quite set in; I haven't been near a small child since new years eve so I need a fix! Does anyone have a small child they would like to lend me?

Thanks Mart & Rich

All that to look forward to

It still hasn't set in for me, as I said, but it hit home for the other half when we had the scan done - his voice went all squeaky. Quite funny considering he's a butch hairy arsed rugby player

Granny has been knitting furiously; we have had to ask her (nicely) to cut back on the mint green and lemon

I would like to know the sex of the baby before it comes; but unfortunately this is the only scan I will have unless I pay for a private one - you only get one at 12/13 weeks in Edinburgh and the Lothians

And where do people get off charging 450 quid for a sodding buggy?

buggys = rip off, but believe you me... there aint many new mums who will accept a sh one!!!

scans... as my other half had some scares (bleeds), she had regular scans to make sure all was ok , plenty of time to look at what was there...

if you have a noticable bump and want to know the sex .....

i can tell you how if you want ..

Hello

You are welcome to take my two year old for a while -- she is very polite and says "please" and "thank you" but unfortunately just as she is about to do something horrendous.

And great ultrasound pictures by the way.

Fanking ewe mrs carlos and markus!

I watched a baby being born last week on the telly; it was foul. The way the baby 'wooshed' out; it was like being at the the bottom of a water flume

eclaire take no notice of the F on the top of the scan pic, i've got two boys and it said the same on mine. I know this probably sound's stupid because at present only woman can have babies, but they are referring to you being female.

I would like a boy, but I suppose as long as it's healthy it doesn't matter.

Ok Claire,

instant baby sexer!!

you need.

1 ring (wedding ring or similar)

1 piece of cotton or similar

method

1 thread ring onto cotton and hold cotton so ring is suspended.

2 hold ring over your hand ..and steady it to stop swinging

3 remove steadying hand and

4 watch..........

now here is the spooky bit it will move in one of two ways....

if its over a female hand it will go in circles if over a male hand it will go in a straight up down swing.

try it on you and your other half to confirm the movement !!!

then do the same over the bump!!!!!!

if the bump is big enough you will get a result

its approximatly 95% accurate lol

my sister is a district nurse, and they do this as a fun thing with expectant mums to give them somthing to show there friends..

let me know how you get on!!!

Mart

Can't believe some people can be so vindictive, frikken tossers. You just IGNORE IT and enjoy all the attention you can, while you can cos you'll not get much when the baby comes along.

The baby is slightly bigger than average so I don't have a normal sized bump!

He says it was swinging up and down rather than moving in circles - I suppose we will see come the 1 October! I should open a book

Claire, don't do the finding out thing, it is not worth it, especially at your age. I was 33 and didn't want to know. Looking at the picture though, where is it's widge?
