As per the title...........I've just applied to Bentley motors in Crewe for a job on their line. Can anybody tell me how rigorous the recruitment procedure is and whats required.

Our PO moved from Jaguar to Aston then to Bentley....she is really high up, but I dont think she is the type to pull strings.

She did get my opposite number big discount on a 'Breitling Bentley' watch though.

I should imagine you with have an interview then a dexterity test, followed by a psychometric test then a medical.

Are you being recruited by bentley or an agency??

I went for a job at RR i did all the tests etc, waited 2 months only to be told no,.. all bar two of the group who applied were told within 24 hrs!!!

the guy who got the job ironically was the position i filled when i moved to his company later the next month.

if B are like RR they will interview loads to get the best going.

some of the other oem,s use agencys to recruit, and after a set time make you perminant. i wont comment further

Yeah, got a mate who works there and he has nothing good to say about it whatsoever, infact he loathes the place. However, Bentley on the other hand have better pay , better hours and better working environment, so im told.

I work for Benltey at the Crewe site, your interview and process will be different depending on what level your job is going to be, 2 for on the line, 3 for engineering, 4 for S.E and manager, 5 for higher mangers, X grade for supreme bossness, do you have a recruitment agent or was it just a CV to the company, PM if you like

My bro has just started working for Bentley about 4 weeks ago, he has an office based job, and got it via a recurtment agency, and TBH he hates it!!! They are disorganised, and petty. They seam to lack any sense structure or logic... He moved there from Vauxhal, and lets say he has not stopped looking for another job yet!!
