Pretty good in the entertainment stakes if you ask me. Angus' delivery is spot on and the contenders are good fun to watch as well!

Absolutely class ? Absolutely CRASS more like. Its pants. Deayton is a pratt and is NOT in the least bit funny.
The two chefs are playing it so over the top as to be mildly amusing for all the wrong reasons.
Sorry but it just does not float my boat.

Apparition, no they haven't got around to cooking Shergar yet
Although I've never tried it myself (being Irish and fond of the turf and those who race upon it) I am reliably informed that horse meat is very, very good. It's on the menus in many French/Swiss restaurants but every time I see it I just can't bring myself to ordering it. Tried Bison but didn't like it as the taste was too strong, have had ostrich and kangaroo which is okay but the thought of taking a bite of horse just doesn't do it for me.
Agree the chefs are laying it on a bit thick but come on, it's supposed to be entertaining. I can't watch any of those "reality" TV shows at all but I find HK to be light-hearted, funny, and a welcome slice of escapism from the never-ending polls and programmes on the forthcoming election.
(Mind you, Paxman was hilarious interviewing Michael Howard on Friday!!!)

Call me a hypocrite, but I continue to record this trash and fast forward through it to glean any "good" bits.......
I have to giggle to myself at the celebrities gathered therein, posing etc. BUT having to wait anything up to 3 hours for their meal.....and then finding foreign bodies in the food, ( cling film seems to be a favourite !) funny thing is, their egos will not let them walk out in disgust! Were it that the cameras were not there, they'd have been up and off in a flash. And yes, I know its a freebie meal, but I for one would certainly not hang around THAT long , whoever was cooking.
