teeth whitening - anyone tried it?
Years of coffee and red wine have taken their toll, so can anyone recommend a teeth whitening system that works and doesn't involve putting hydrogen peroxide in mi gob?

I used Rapid White and its really good. Brings your teeth back to natural colour. No stains. Didn't go brilliant white tho'. Think you need the dentist for that.

Never failing to clean your teeth from a child at least twice a day worked for me.
Have to say a good electric toothbrush, (I've had them since 1987'ish), appear to have worked well for my gnashers.
Also tried that Pearl drops back in the 80's and thought it was póo.

Jer......
As we all know 10% carbamide peroxide used as a night guard system for 3 weeks plus from whatever manufacturer works pretty much the same !!!
"in office" whitening for 1 hour *may* be not as good !! seem to remember something in this months BDJ about it. Not to mention the EU 1992 cosmetical devices regulations...... LOL

I didn't think tooth whitening products were allowed in the UK?
As sarasquares said, North Americans joke about the gnarly teeth the British have. Even my dentist here made a comment FFS.
Anyway, after a stint abroad, where I ended up smoking 40+ ciggies a day, I needed to do something about my very yellow pegs. I used Crest Whitestrips. A bit fiddly to start with, but they really are very effective.
I would also recommend a whitening toothpaste. Even Sensodyne (approved by even North American dentists), do a whitening version.
