Has anyone used a reputable company to oragnise a golf holday abroad? Started looking into it and can find loads of people on the web that do these holidays but would prefer to pay money to a reliable source.

Priced up Vilamoura and that came in at about £800 per person, self catering with 5 rounds of golf...

Any info would be great

Be careful if you plan to do it at the end of the summer. We've just had the driest winter on record - possibly for 300 years - and they are talking about massive water shortages. This affects the tourism as they might not be able to irrigate the golf courses (or fill the swimming pools). April's supposed to be the rainy month but there wasn't much, and now we're into May I don't foresee much until October. So if you plan to come at end of summer, you might just find some parched courses. If in the next few weeks you should be OK though. Check before buying!

Ive been looking at these, seem to offer good deals and you can se where you wanna go at a reasonable price. I should be flying out there on the 2nd of June should be a cracking holiday

try golfbreaks.com - i have used these guys to organise golf society trips away several times and they really look after you.. nothing it too much trouble..
