I think the idea is that the smell doesn't linger on your breath, but the food still smells of it.

I'm not sure it's preferable to ciggies anyway. Garlic tends to taste like ****, really like ****, on someone else's breath when you snog 'em. At least ciggie taste is identifiable.

I take odourless garlic tablets in the morning, they don't smell or taste which is good so it doesn't linger all day Have them because garlic is supposed to be good for lowering cholesterol and blood pressure and also offer protection against strokes and heart disease............

Wouldn't use it for cooking though - you need full on potent garlic for that - and lots of it!!!!!
