Embarrassing Problem...
Ok, I have seen others ask the great information pool that is scoobynet some questions in the past and if I am honest I have had a bit of a laugh at some of them. But I guess what goes around comes around because now I find myself walking the lonely walk that is registering an alias and pouring forth my problems to the community
So here goes.........
I have a mole...... (no not the furry kind, I know how to deal with them already thanks to scoobynet! ) and over the last few months that mole has been changing, become raised itchy etc ..... yes I know ...... not good .... but it gets worse........
The location of this mole is in a non-compromising position for a gent, namely on the "hood" of the old chap!
I finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctors which was a nightmare..... I hadn't been to the doctors in years, it's the first time I have even met my GP since registering at this practice and I have to wop my *** out!
After taking a look the good news is that he doesn't think it is cancerous, but "suspect" and liable to turn malignant if not sorted.....and by "sorted" he meant removed, however due to the errm "location" and the fact that spare skin in my case is apparently already at a premium down there he doesn't think they will be able to remove just the mole......they will have to snip the whole skin off!
Do you think he might be over diagnosing this? I mean its not like the old chap gets much sun so I can't see how the mole can be turning nasty? Are there any harmless things it could be?
I'm quite attatched to my elephants trunk, and want to remain attatched unless it absolutely HAS to go! If it does have to go is it really that bad?
I appreciate that most people who have had similar problems would rather not talk about them in public, but if you could see your way clear to registering a cheeky alias and sharing your advice both me and Mr ***** would be very grateful!
thanks in advance......

Once you've had the old 'fruit juice stirring stick with barbs on it' rammed down your japs eye, you soon lose your embarassement over such things
Got any pics, so that the medical fraternity here on scoobynet may be able to help with their informed advise......... thought not
......otherwise trust your doctor to make the correct decision as to what's the best course of treatment for your 3rd leg
Good luck

Don't ignore the advice of a doc. You've done the hard part by going to see him/her in the first place so don't walk away now. As the doc said, it could become a problem in the future if you don't get it sorted and you'd certainly regret not taking the advice. Remove the skin now or remove your whole do-dar a few years down the line Get a 2nd opinion if you're in any doubt.

It's only like going out in the rain without your cap on, you'll get used to it. In fact I bet you'll be polishing it for a week afterwards at least.
It's much easier to draw pictures on and MMS good looking girls too.

Thanks for the replies guys..... maybe in a year or something I can look back at this and laugh!
Liquid nitrogen sounds a bit dangerous for my likeing!
I'm not asking for a diagnosis over a doctor, just if anyone had had anything similar and if so then what was the outcome. Ironically my girlfriend is jewish so I suppose she'll be glad to see the back of poor dumbo's trunk

Annoyingly her indoors has never had a issue with helmetdale until this problem came to light that is..... and now I have been put on chastity detail until moley is eliminated one way or another!

I would give NHS direct a call they have been great in the past with problems my baby has had, they may have a different avenue for you to go down as circumsision (sp?) seems a tad much but I'm no doctor.
Good luck anyway!

A friend of mine had a problem I won't go into a few years back and as a result he now drives a convertible.
His comments are always along the lines of "the girls love it" & that he "would never go back" (it's not like he could now).
The procedure and recovery weren't the most pleasant but he's bumping uglies again and enjoying it more than ever.
Get a 2nd opinion if you want but don't panic if they say you're for the snip.
