2 days ago I got a txt message that was totally blank.

Today, I've received a 2nd txt from the same number with

"Holiday Emma
Have A great holiday dad"

Now I'm just trying to think whether it's "Emma" or "Dad" who's sent the txt and what comedy reply I can send...

Given that the first txt was blank I'm assuming it's from the Dad and he doesn't know how to use a mobile.

My current thinking is to reply with "I'm not coming home Dad, I'm pregnant to a local waiter..."

Suggestions please.

Well it is definitely going to be the Dad with that sort of message, unless this Emma is shot to bits, any female is going to have a basic grasp of the art of texting (not that females do not have many other considerable qualities you understand, so please dont take this as some sort of sexist thinking). I reckon you are safe to the stick with the notion that it is going to be the Dad, who has just got to grips with the instruction manual of his nokia.

Trouble is, you send one back, and no "Emma" is going to appear on his phone is it. Unless he has some old brick from 1996.
