So, they say they shouldn't be moved on because lots have 'invested in their homes'. It's very simple peeps, YOU DON'T HAVE PLANNING PERMISSION, so bugger off!
Why don't these people think the law applies to them too?

Why doesn't someone just set their caravans on fire, with their mothers in them

A tad harsh, perhaps, but I see where you're coming from.
I thought the whole point of being a TRAVELLER was that you didn't stay in the same place all the time; surely buying a piece of land and living on it permanently is what the rest of us do?

Actually, I wouldn't mind a blind eye being turned to the planning permission so they had proper fixed addreses so:
a) they'd be liable for council tax and rates
b) the DVLA can track down thier untaxed, uninsured and un-MOT'd transits
c) they are leechhing adn desicrating their own land and not somebody else.
Like that'll ever happen
More likely they'll all sign on and become benefit leechers ![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
However saying all that....I'd not have them in my back yard thanks![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I hate the lot of them ![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Bloody drain on society and not a drop of respect for the country or the countryside.
I was getting into my car the other day in Leeds, near the city centre but in a student/residential area when a couple of horses pulling what can only be described as a haycart pulled up in front of me by the verge. Piloting the cart was the fattest, scruffiest bloke I've ever seen and the cart itself was populated with an array of equally fat and scruffy members of his 'family'.
Now, having been around horses all my life I decided not to fire up the car (4" tailpipe) until they'd either moved on or were obviously aware that I was there waiting. While I was sat there a huge bloater of a woman, about 50yrs old, attempted to climb down from the cart. Hilariously she waggled one leg around, about a foot off the ground, before falling face first onto the verge. She rolled around a bit before struggling to her feet at which point she dropped her velour sweatpants and, squatting slightly, began p!ssing like a racehorse on the grass, in full view of the passing traffic and pedestrians.
Not a pretty sight I can assure you.
When she finished she hitched up her pants and then followed another comedic display as three of them tried to get her back on the cart. Two were pulling her arms and one had got off and was (bravely in my opinion) pushing furiously on her enormous backside. At this point I should have been crying with laughter but I was too shocked to appreciate the scene.
It was only after they'd all remounted and moved on their way that I realised I could have had photos and video on my phone for all to see. Guess I'll never make a paparazzi photographer.

Just typical, misguided actor (part of the Redgrave dynasty) jumping on the bandwagon. IMHO this has nothing to do with race.
This is about Gypises doing what they want where they want with no regard for thier neighbours, the enviroment or the law.
As usual some ill informed to$$er plays the race card in the hope this will stifle real people with real issues.
Corin - Race is not the issue you sad Gucci Socialist, remember God gave you two eyes and one mouth, use them in that ratio in future

I think the test of his sincerity would be to move the f*ckers into his back garden!
