![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Where is the cheapest place to park thats within a maximum of 10 minutes walk from the tower?
Need to travel by car and know the parking underneath the tower is extortionate so want to use the cheapest alternative. Will only be parking for upto 2 hours.
TIA

Even though it's high charges, 2 hours isn't going to cost that much!
But if it really riles you you can park on the lot between the wharf and the Highway, that costs £6.5 all day, or the NCP behind the cinema next door to that. Another option is to do some shopping at Waitrose, they give you 2 hours parking free IIRC in the carpark underneath.
Cman (I can check what 2 hours costs tonight on me way home if you want)

Paul-s thanks for the offer but due to the timing of the visit I wont have any room for delay and therefore don't want to rely on someone else in case they can't help me at the last minute.
Chuck thanks, i'd forgotten about the cinema car park! I'll either use that or i'll park across the river at Charlton depending on the traffic and jump on the tube there for one stop up the line. This then avoids me getting stuck in traffic going through the Blackwall Tunnell.
Cheers for the replies.
