help with posting photos

I know this has probably been answered a hundred times but can someone make it one hundred and one??!! I can t work out how to post up a picture of a tv I have for sale, do I need to be a full paid up member to do this as under posting rules it says I may not post attachments.

1) Look up Photobucket on Google and go to their site
2) Follow the join up instructions and they will hold any pictures you send to them for free. You just mail the picture link where you are storing piccie on your PC.
3) When you want to post a link to a piccie you go back to the Photobusket site with Password and click on the piccie you want and paste that link into your message.
4) I found joining procedure a bit of a pain with pop-ups etc but works fine once you struggled through it all.
5) I am sure others with more knowledge will be more helpful but that's what I did anyway.
6) What I want to know is how to post a picture directly without a link?
